Last night I was invited to check out the new venue from Nick House, called The Rose Club, (known shortly as The Black Cat during a series of soft launch parties before its renovation and official opening this week) and I must say it certainly was fun! DJ Kayper kept the crowds jumping and we enjoyed some Ciroq vodka and Champagne cocktails with the club's creative director Andrew Dax. Ballerinas performed synchronised routines to Runaway by Kanye West, special drinks were brought out in oversized novelty Monopoly game pieces (see us drinking from a silver top hat below) and the infinity mirrors, state-of-the-art lighting and Funktion 1 sound system induced a near-epileptic state of frenzy in the already lively crowd. Suffice to say we're feeling a little fragile today. Not one for the faint-hearted but definitely a great place to go if you want to party hard in the West End and you have the cash to splash on a table (otherwise you may feel a little awkward as the whole space is made up of booths and there is little designated dance floor to speak to of). You can check out their official website if you click HERE and apply for membership.
