Christopher Shannon AW12 Aftershow Party

Last Wednesday, marking the end of London Fashion Week, I threw the first ever aftershow party for celebrated British menswear designer, and one of my personal favourites, Christopher Shannon. Held inside the exclusive Wyld Bar at the W Hotel London and DJ'd by myself and Laurence Matthew guests were treated to free drinks courtesy of Brockman's Gin, mountains of candy and a chocolate fountain with marshmallows to dip. Front row guests, VIPs and friends of Shannon mingled amongst the crowd, including the designer himself and his trusted team. Boy oh boy was it fun! NYE W Hotel London

For NYE the W Hotel London threw a massive 90s themed party with myself and Natt Weller DJing in the Wyld Bar alongside Ocean Colour Scene, Republica and my friends Sean Alto and Miguel Dare. It was a great way to ring in the new year and below are some photos from the night, including me having a great time on the decks:

Last night I was lucky enough to attend the W Hotel pre-launch party for friends and family. The hotel itself is situated in the Soho/Leicester Square area on Wardour street. The two hotel bars were both serving free drinks all night, including some interesting cocktails with DJ Simon Lawrence spinning tunes in the main bar which features two storey windows and a giant disco ball. Other amenities include a gym and screening room. When the W opens officially on Valentine's Day it will no doubt be dubbed one of central London's hottest hangouts, and with the Box only recently opened a few minutes away Soho now boasts two of NY's most happening exports in nightlife.
